Our Goal
To provide a high intensity camp for elite hockey players preparing for the upcoming travel season. The camp will provide youth hockey players the opportunity to train for the upcoming season in a college and professional hockey-like manner. Not only should players count on getting into peak season shape, but players will also leave the camp with an increased understanding of the training techniques and methods used by Junior, College and Professional Athletes.

Who we are
YouthHockeyOnline, a branch of Adirondack Ad Specialties was founded in 2004 with the intent of providing Youth Hockey Players across the country with online tips, drills, stories, and more information.

What makes this an Elite Camp
Simple, 99% of hockey camps across the country are made up of players with a large array of talent levels. This means that drills must be basic so that they are able to include first year players through AAA players. All of the players attending our clinic have a strong hockey background enabling us to run a camp with advanced drills designed to challenge even the top players.

Counselors
While other camps and clinics in the area are staffed by high school kids, the YouthHockeyOnline Elite Clinic will be staffed by College Hockey Players.

Positional Training
Goalie Coaches will be on hand to work with the goaltenders, as well as forward coaches to work with the forwards and defensive coaches to work with the defenseman.

On Ice Instruction
All on Ice Instruction utilizes the most cutting edge and innovative high level training techniques.

  • Focus on conditioning with minimal rest intervals, maximizing one’s level of cardiovascular work to ensure top condition.
  • Over speed training to develop footwork and puck skills at top speed.
  • Drills emphasizing game-like situation.
  • Guaranteed Improvement in skating, puck handling, shooting and passing skills.

For those of age, proper technique seminar for correct usage of body contact

  • Reasons for body checking
  • Proper checking technique
  • How to protect yourself
  • How to make checking a fun experience

Off Ice Conditioning
There is an increasing importance in the role of off ice conditioning in the Game of Hockey Today. Our goal is to provide players with a fundamental knowledge of the importance of off ice training, as well as provide players with some exercises they can perform on their own.

  • Plyometric work to improve power, explosiveness, and leg strength.
  • Quick feet and foot work drills for foot speed.
  • Agility Sprints for development of on ice athletic ability.
  • Multitasking drills to improve coordination between one’s lower body, upper body, and mind.
  • Flexibility used for injury prevention, as well as improvement in skating stride. Dynamic, static, and partner stretching routines.
  • Core and Stabilizer exercises.

How do you feel about the rule changes in the NHL?

I love them, they really open up the game
They are ok, but more needs to be done
I prefer the old NHL and traditional hockey rules
No opinion
